Bokeelia Island Cottage
About This Build Project
This unique customer Cottage is located on the beautiful Bokeelia Island off the southwestern Florida Gulf coast.
With a risk of high tidal water levels in the area, the owner decided to build their 384-square-foot Cottage kit on a concrete-block stilt foundation. Besides protecting the home from high water, the elevated home achieves views of the Gulf of Mexico across the tops of the palm trees.
Stairs lead from the sand to a front deck that serves double duty as shelter for storage below.
