About This Build Project
ADU’s give families the ability to allow older family members to age in place while maintaining their independence. Built on concrete pilings, this Modern with 600 square feet provides its owners with that opportunity. Measuring 20 feet by 30 feet, this home also features a loft for additional storage and sleeping space for when the grandkids come to spend the night.
As a DIY project, this home went together quickly. The walls were up in only 3.5 hours and, even with a delay because of heavy rain. The entire build was under roof in only two days!
